Privacy Policy for Kodi Junction

Effective date: 7 November 2026

Kodi Junction is a board game for Android, published by the developer named on its Google Play page. This policy explains what the app does with your information.

What we collect

Most of the game runs on your device. We collect information only when you play online, as described below, and we never sell it. The app has no accounts or passwords. Ads in the app are served by Google, as described below.

What stays on your device

The app saves your settings, coin balance, unlocked items, equipped items and a record of purchases already delivered. This stays on your device. Android's automatic backup may include it in your own Google account backup, which you control in your device settings.

Online play

When you open Play Online, the app signs in to Google Firebase with an anonymous ID made for your device. It is not linked to your name, email address or Google account.

To run a match, our servers (Google Firebase, hosted on Google Cloud in Singapore) store the anonymous ID, the name you enter, the avatar and goti set you have chosen, the rolls and moves of the match, and whether each player is still connected. The other players see your name, avatar, goti set and moves, so choose a name you are happy for other players to see. If you create a room, you decide who gets its code or invite link.

When you look for a match with anyone, the app also sends the language you play in. It is used only to choose names for the computer players that fill empty seats, and isn't stored with your match.

If you open a friend's invite link before installing the game, Google Play passes the room code to the game when it first starts (the install referrer). The game reads only that code, on your device, and uses it to join the room.

These records are deleted automatically: matches within about six hours, rooms and the queue for random opponents within an hour, and anonymous IDs after 30 days. The app makes a new anonymous ID when it needs one.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled by Google Play. Google processes your payment under its own privacy policy, and we never see your card or bank details. The app receives only what it needs to deliver your purchase, such as the product and a purchase ID. It keeps that on your device.

Advertising

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, general location derived from it, and information about your device and how you interact with ads. Google handles this under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent first, and you can change your choice in Settings under Ad Privacy Choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. The Pro Pass removes banner and between-match ads. Rewarded ads only play when you choose to watch one.

Permissions

The app uses the internet permission to reach Google Play for purchases and prices, to load ads, and for online play. The advertising ID permission is used for ads as described above.

After your first free spin of the daily wheel, the app asks once whether it may send notifications. If you allow it, it reminds you when your next free spin is ready and before a spin streak would end. These reminders are scheduled on your device and nothing is sent to us. The app also asks Android to keep them after the phone restarts. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

Children

Kodi Junction is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app removes its data from your device. You can remove any copy in your backup through your Google account settings. Online play records are deleted automatically, as described above; to have them deleted sooner, email us. Items bought on Google Play stay linked to your Google account under Google's policies.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the effective date. If a future version uses data differently, the policy will be updated first.
